Hi Vivek. My name is Lex, and I'm from America. Thanks for reaching out, and pleasure to meet you! One thing I can say is that Jesus is all about relationship. Religion is in my opinion just a way to get the message across, a part of the path to keep us motivated as believers, and a way for us to learn and grow together aas believers . It is also a way of fellowship with other believers but ultimately God is all about relationship, and a true relationship with God is through praying, seeking his face, reading his word, and abiding by it. You have to want him more than life itself,and desire to walk upright before him. It isn't our religion that gets us to heaven, but it is our relationship with Jesus that does so. People who are too religious become "self righteous", which is really bad. But Stay encouraged and keep chasing after God.I won't be on interpals for the next 20 days, but feel free to drop me a message and we can talk when I get back. It's always a great opportunity to have the privilege of meeting other believers. Stay strong, and also ask God this question if you haven't already.
