Hi Cynthia: i lived and worked in Israel for 8 years teaching computer programming to Israeis and traveling around the country, once spending 2 weeks traveliing throough the Sinai Penninsula and visiting the Red Sea. I also spent years in the U. S. Marines stationed in the Phillipines and Japan. I wrote a book on how to find jobs using Linkedin, Facebook and other websites. I wrote a book about my family and how they came to America from Russia in early 1900s. Stay well, Jerry

Hi Gerald, I think you posted me at my site. Tell me about yourself. Why should I do all the talking? Come on! Tell me about your travels, your fav. foods, hobbies you really like, places you'd like to visit(Canada"s a good one!) . I saw a website on the Net on creative writing & I've written children's stories(not published) & written a mini novel for the 1st time. My sis is going to type it and I can email it to friends as I've done many nature poems to cheer them up during COVID! Bye for now. Post me if you wish. Marion from Canada!

Hi Gerald, I'm old enough to be your daughter but I like talking to older people who have wisdom and know-how! I like your quotes from Gandhi! I agree with you that trump should have gone a long time ago. He's made a laughing stock of himself! I like the music of the 30's ,40's & 50's-the Big Band era and all the old movies as they had substance , Pizzazz and style, not the rubbish they show nowadays. I am my father's daughter-he was a writer of historical books , speaker, singer, Indian dancer and a great traveller so I took after him(now deceased for a long time) but his legacy will live on-paintings of india ink-African animals, Canadian aboriginals, scenes of Zanzibar(now Tanzania). Did portraits of Natives, Inuits. Very influenced by him and mom was a High school teacher who taught Muslim high school semi adults English & French. Bye for now & Post me again if you wish. Marion from Canada.

The COVID crisis will go on for several years around the world, with it affecting those coountries that can not learn to deal with it correctly suffering the worst. I believe that Trump's handiling of the pandemic will cost him the election. The pandemic is getting media coverage on the news networks day and night and Trump's lies are leading to his losiing points to Biden and the democratic message. I may be wrong, but time will tell. My son, Neal, is going to Afghanistan for a government job next month. He was in the US Army in Iraq and worked as a contractor for the US Air Force in Afghanistan.

Humanity has adapted to many things. This pandemic will go down in history as another event like World War II in its magnititude.
Stay well,

Jerry

Not too sure where this is posted. My husband is an computer engineer for most of his career. Me...I actually did programming in the Marines on the 360 way back when. I, unfortunately have spent my entire life in the US. My husband and sons have been in Japan via their jobs.

We also have Amazon Prime...sometimes I think we keep them in business. We were both married before (widowed), so we are still learning about each other. He is a bit of a sci fi buff, but we both involve ourselves in real science. I have a medical background and am fascinated on how over time we continue to adapt. I feel this covid crisis is definitely a paradigm shift on our current time. I am curious on how it will finally play out or if I will still be here to find out.

Take care
Lois
