Yes it's pretty cool here in the south, it has a lot you can find also about the southern culture, and well actually Arizona is more of a hot and mostly dry place with snakes, coyotes and even wolves, we do have some parts on the Sonoran part that has a few swamps but gatorz, I haven't heard of their habitat in their areas, but yea we do have most parts with lakes and salty rivers, which is most common for desert areas, mostly our Grand Cannon that is located in the northern zone of Arizona, I don't know if you have seen it's picture of it but it's pretty beautiful there :)
